Together with directors Wolfgang Becker, Dani Levy and Tom Tykwer, producer Stefan Arndt founded the production company X Filme Creative Pool in 1994. Great success with audiences and critics such as Tykwer’s RUN LOLA RUN, Levy’s ALL ON ZUCKER or Becker’s GOOD BYE, LENIN! paved the way for international co-productions under German leadership such as the award-winning Michael Haneke productions DAS WEISSE BAND and AMOUR or Tom Tykwer’s and Lana & Lilly Wachowski’s CLOUD ATLAS, the most expensive independently financed European film of all time. Most recently the company released BABYLON BERLIN, which has been sold to over 100 countries as well as the first instalment of the Kangaroo-Chronicles feature film series.
